This Privacy Policy explains how the Resource Reserve mobile application ( "the App" ) handles your information. Please read it together with the "Important: self-hosted service" section below, which affects who is responsible for your data.
Resource Reserve is a client app for a self-hosted booking system. The App does not send your data to the App publisher or to any central service we operate. Instead, you enter a server address on the sign-in screen, and the App communicates only with that server — typically one run by your own organization or administrator.
The organization that operates the server you connect to is the controller of your data and is responsible for how it is stored, used, and retained. If you have questions about your data, contact your server administrator. The publisher of the App provides the software only and has no access to your server or its data.
When you use the App, the following information is processed:
Your server may also keep activity logs ( for example, registration, sign-in, and reservation events ) as part of its normal operation. These are held on the server, under your administrator's control.
Information is used solely to provide the App's features: creating and verifying your account, signing you in, making and reviewing reservations, exchanging messages, and showing notifications. The App does not use your information for advertising or profiling.
The App stores your server address and sign-in token locally on your device using Android's private app storage. This data is removed when you sign out, switch servers, or uninstall the App.
All communication between the App and your server uses encrypted HTTPS connections; the App refuses non-secure connections. The security of the server itself and the data stored on it is the responsibility of the organization that operates it.
The App is intended for use by employees and members of organizations and is not directed at children under 13 ( or the minimum age in your jurisdiction ).
To access or correct your account and associated data, contact the administrator of the server you use. Because the data resides on that server, the App publisher cannot fulfill these requests directly.
You can delete your account and its associated data at any time, with or without the App. On the server you connect to, open the account deletion page and sign in with your account email and password to confirm. On the default server this page is:

Deleting your account permanently removes your reservations, messages, notifications, and any administrator assignments. Anonymous operational records that no longer identify you may be retained for security and audit purposes.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
